I frequently play using controllers on steam. I've used several different controllers and configurations for each controller. Sometimes the HUD correctly shows the element wheel, and sometimes it shows the keyboard version of the hud (with the elements displayed in two rows, and buttons incorrectly labeled every time). Please please please just add an option to manually switch between the element wheel hud and the keyboard default hud. It is much easier to play the game, and explain to others how to play the game, when the element wheel is correctly displayed in the hud and it almost never works correctly.
If there is already a way to make sure the HUD displays correctly, I haven't been able to find it and I've searched several times.
