Monarchs that aren't, premature death and HRE issues... An idea for a fix

please fix in EU II: if the hansa gets elected HRE before it turns protestant it will stay HRE forever since the hansa "monarch" never dies.

maybe you haven't played hansa. If computer controlled it shifts protestant long before it is big enough to win the election by eating up the HRE and the computer rarely will be on good terms with his neighbours to win a regular election.
 
Presumably if every country will be playable, then every country will have a monarchs and leaders list. *hope*
 
It is right, hansa has a collective council which is a king in EU terms. there should however be a flag/switch in the data structure for countries that accounts for such a system like the US govt, the republic of venice etc... These nations should retain HRE status for 5 or 30 or whatever years. such a switch also prevents Hansa from having a regency for all the game after a premature death event.
