Posted this in other forums, but it seems to have disappeared, so I'm trying again here.

I have version 1.03 of EU2. I am playing the grand campaign as Scotland. When I have a diplomat, I attempt to declare war on England using the diplomacy screen. When I click "declare war", the game says, "You are about to declare war on France. This will cost you so many stability points". I am confused. I try again. Now, it says "You are about to declare war on Scotland." I am clicking directly on England's capital when I do this. There are no alliances currently existent that would lead to something like this. As I keep trying, I keep being told I am declaring war on myself.

What gives? Is it something I'm doing wrong, or is this a problem with the game? I'm new to this series, so it's entirely possible the problem lies with me - but I need help, as I can't figure out what's going on by myself.

I'm running the game on Windows 98, on a Pentium III 450 with 128 MB of RAM and gobs of hard drive space. My graphics card is a Diamond Ultra Viper TNT 2. All of this, I think, is well within the minimum spec.

If anyone has experienced this or can tell me what's going on, please help, either through this forum or via e-mail. Thank you.

left-click on one of Englands provinces to select it, than right click and select "Declare War". it should work. I just tried it and it works fine.
