Steam Workshop mods are of course only intended for Steam customers. If you've found a way around that, it's up to you to make it work again - we're not going to help you do that.

i use that website for downloading mods for epic games version because you said your mod site doesnt support the game
That's right, and we don't support you taking mods from the Steam database while not being a Steam customer.

If the mod authors choose to upload their work to places like Github that's fine.

I see this post is a couple of years old, but i'm having issues as well through Steam. Sometimes the game works, then next day, when I launch from the launcher, starts (black screen) for a couple of seconds, then kicks out. Uninstall, re-install through steam, then works again once. I figured its a C++ issue, so I uninstalled all my redist and reinstalled ALL of them 32 and 64bit. Now even starting from the exe directly, same happens. Tried 1- unticking dlc's in steam, 2- ticking them all, 3- only keeping the Key and soundtrack ticked, none of those 3 attempts made a change. I've been scouring the internet trying to find a solution, and have tried all I could find. Deleted mod folder, deleted appdata folder, you name it, tried it all.

Please assist.

In future please make your own new thread, rather than necroing one form years ago. Thanks.

The crash happens really early in that log file, and in Dxdiag we see it is crashign in MSCTF.dll , which is a Windows module from MS.

Their advice:

Good luck with that!
