Please Help

I followed someone's advice to use the HOI_settings.exe program to change the game resolution to the max level. For my equipment, it was a terrible idea. The game now is small, with tiny tiny print, and as it is it's unplayable. I ran the program again, reset it to the original, middle level default, and restarted the computer, but it still runs at the higher display mode. If anyone can help me avoid another tedious uninstall, reinstall, patch, patch and patch (to get back to CORE .83) I will be grateful.

You don't need to restart the computer to make it take effect. What does the settings.cfg file say? All the hoi_settings program really does is edit that file so you certainly don't need to reinstall unless there is some other problem.
