I'm in love with the in-game music, however, the constant interruption to the music by way of events, activities and war declarations is disrupting my immersion to the point where i had to mod it to make it go away, however, this mod is quite invasive and interferes with a lot of files...

And since it does override files - making it compatible with mods is near impossible, barring a more creative solution that i can implement.

However, Devs, if you're listening, PLEASE consider adding an option to allow the in-game soundtrack to play, uninterrupted!

Thank you!

For almost every Paradox game I directly play tracks in the background with Winamp or Spotify (or any other media player). The only issue is that they cannot be selectively played according the the state of the game, e.g. if you are at peace or war (like in Hearts of Iron) or the century (like in Europa Universalis II), unless you manually rearrange the playlist.
