EDIT - Mods can this be moved to the HIP sub thread please?
Hi all
Ive converted from vanilla to HIP CK2 and loving the changes thus far. I have a question regarding the new plot options available and how the mechanics work. I cant find an explanation when I search the forums so I hope you can shed some light?
My current game start was a count in Ireland and I have managed to become king. I have medium crown authority with a view to obtaining high so that I can change succession law to primogeniture. In the meantime, I'm feuding with my brother who is a powerful vassal and he hates me (-100). I have plotted to fabricate both treason and heresy with success but I cant see what the effects were of doing this.
My presumption would have been that for treason I could imprison/revoke titles with impunity and with heresey request excommunication without negative effect. However, it would seem that my council are still opposed to either of these options so not sure what the benefit of plotting in these ways are without council support?
