Poland And Romania Vs. The Rest Of The World-multiplayer Aar
POLAND AND ROMANIA VS THE REST OF THE WORLD-MULTIPLAYER AAR
LEVEL:Normal
Goal: Pretty much the same as in that known cartoon “Pinky and the Brain”-Rule the world
A couple of weeks ago me(Szmeru) and my friend (el_Campero) decided to create a new world order on the HOI2 Multiplayer. We wanted the game to be long and challenging After long debates (15min) we agreed on picking Poland and Romania as the new empires of the future I took Poland and naturally my friend Romania This is our first AAR so it may not be “fantastic” but believe me, we’re working on it
PS: We live in Poland so our english will never be flawless
The beginning:
1936 Warsaw. Rain…
Polish head of state General Śmigły Rydz to King Carol the IInd the leader of the Romania:
-Europe is on the edge of a conflict. The Wersal Treaty order, giving our countries the right to exist , made other nations our enemies only waiting for our defeat. Peace on the continent will not last forever.
[Rydz and Carol lean over the table to look at the map of Europe]
Rydz:-On the East Stalin with his communist comrades waits for the most appropriate occasion to strike. On the west Hitler is getting stronger, demanding new land for his so called “Reich”. We cannot allow them to endanger our countries, the people we have the duty to defend.
[an adjutant enters the room bringing coffee Ś-Rydz walks guides Carol II to the window facing Marszałkowska Street, Warsaw’s main alley]
Carol :-What do you propose general?
R:-we must join forces and take this matter into our own hands, the Wersal pact does not guarantee peace. We must fight for our independence..
C: The empires of the modern world will not tolerate our action general, you know this
R: yes but we have no other choice…
[C and R looking out the window at the crowded alley ]
C : So we will fight together , for Poland, for Romania, for our people…..
R:Yes , Poland and Romania, Allies against the rest of the world.

Chapter 1
Before the war
-It all started in 1936 Romania and Poland signed a treaty and became allies for the first time in Polish-Rumanian history. (big event
-as allies we decided to trade all the techs we invented so I started with armor and artillery aircraft and infantry, and my friend went into the rest (all docs we did separately)
-we made trade agreements between each other, mostly Rumanian oil for Polish
energy and supplies. Both of us made a deal with the UK for rare materials
-on the same beginning we decided to increase our production capability by building more factories(exp. Romania)
-as building factories was not really exciting we made an agreement concerning the territory we will gain invading the continent. As Poland lies in the north it will gain such territories as Germany, north France ,Scandinavia, England Scotland and Ireland. Romania will gain the southern lands which consist: Turkey, Greece, Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia and Albania. The problem of Spain Portugal and Austria was to be discussed further on. As most of our leaders have secret bank accounts in Switzerland we decided to leave it alone
Chapter2
The fist strike….
Czechoslovakia-The geographical center of Europe, a country known for its Skoda cars, nice mountains and genuine ”Zlaty Bazant” beer. A land stuck almost directly between Romania and Poland It sounded like the perfect place to show the power of new Polish-Rumanian alliance..
Our forces relocated around the Czechoslovakian border. The main PL forces were concentrated in Krakow to hit for Prague and the RO units gathered around east Slovakia
This operation was supposed to be a piece of cake. It turned out to be a slaughter…..
April 2 1936-PL and RO officially declared war on Czechoslovakia, almost all of our army units poured into our new enemies territory
April 7-most of Slovakia is in the hands of Rumanian forces. The brave Polish Infantry cuts of the rest of all units in that area by taking Zilina and advancing on Brno.
And then……
April 13 Houston?…we have a problem….
GERMANY declares WAR on there new enemies =>POLAND and ROMANIA
Polish divisions get crushed at Gdańsk Poznań and Czestochowa. The offensive in Czechoslovakia is cancelled until further notice
-As most of the Polish units were engaged in Czechoslovakia the Germans simply roll into west Poland
-my forces are seriously outnumbered on the whole front. German troops seize Lodz and help Czechoslovakia which attacks our positions and regains Zilina and Brno
-German forces attack from Konigsberg and pour into to east PL from the north and gaining Krakow from the south.
-The capitol, Warsaw is surrounded from 3 sides by enemy troops, but the Polish army will never surrender!!
Chapter 3
The turning point
-Romania sends her brave army to aid ours
-But we lose west Slovakia
-The German offensive has come to a halt)))))
Then….FRANCE declares WAR on their NEW ENEMIES…..Germany
Hitler never saw this coming
From the archives of the Polish museum of modern history in Berlin
“…The German army was now forced to fight on two fronts. The unquestionable bravery of the great Polish-Rumanian Army allowed ungrateful French soldiers to gain new land with almost any casualties. As Hitler’s forces where pushed back to the Oder River the united armies stormed the fortresses of Prague, Breslau and Bratislava
German troops retreating towards the Oder river install this border sign in an act of desperation to stop the Polish offensive
. The former capitol of the ancient German territory, Berlin fell to the undefeatable Polish army on October the 15th The war ended on November the 4th by taking the last bastion, Munich. It is commonly known that the arrogant French took most of Germany while the brave allied armies engaged the bulk of the Nazi task force. The new border was set on the west of Rostock Potsdam, Cottbus, and Prague. Our ally. Romania, gained Munich and Slovakia with z Zilina and Brno as a gift from the Polish nation”
The war was over, Germany and Czechoslovakia were gone, the great Polish-Rumanian army was victorious
Hitler and his officers surrender to the victorious Polish Army
Germany cost the Polish-Rumanian alliance way too much. Poland lost 14 infantry divisions all it’s air force and 2/3 of the navy “fleet” (1 destroyer 1 sub) Rumania lost 1 division and Germany with Czechoslovakia lost everything)))

The dawn of the new order….
