Poland the best choice in 33?

First I would like to say that first I had negative opinion about this add-on to AoD

But now I'm liking it very much. And Poland is probably strongest country in 33 (35 divisions with HQ), I have beat German in 2 months in 33, I think you can beat everyone 1v1 as Poland. Well if only France didn't pussy out in 33 Pilsudski wanted to atack nazis in 33 but he didn't, I didn't repeat that misstake.

Map from October 1934. I'm now preparing to invade France, well France shouldn't be a problem but UK, I would become totally isolated from sea, so I'm not sure, probably I will conquer Balkans and Romania, Hungary is my puppet atm.

My main problem with Iron Cross are some small provinces like in south Italy when it's very hard to select the unit you want too.

And why I can't control army of my puppet Hungary?

It's obvious that Germany is weak:D They are bounded by the Versailles Treaty. Such an agressive polish AI can cause nigtmares...
 
That's ridiculous. How can a game like that possibly be rewarding?

As we all know Germany violated the terms of the treaty but before the violation this was the situation. Remember that you can start the game in 1933, before german's violation of the treaty of Versailles

No, no. I appreciate that Germany had severe military restrictions due to the treaty of versailles, but if Poland annexed both Germany and Italy I suspect the league of nations might have something to say about it. I was merely pointing out that Poland steam rolling Europe, and especially a weakened Germany, wouldn't be much fun or realistic in my eyes.

Nice map:) one of course can have a fun for a while. You aren't very much concerned with your belligerence, are you? Any thoughts or strategy on how to deal with revolt risks in the occupied provinces?:)
 
People what are you smoking, I'm using gamey tactic? Gamey tactic is if I used insist on demans to take key provinces like tobruk etc then crush italy on mainland.

Honestly what are you talking about what is fun in playing germany? When you can conquer whole world around 45-46.

And I can't decide if I should make Italy puppet or not, this would make things easier, but I don't want to make things easier ;)

And I dislike the new way, how puppets work, you can't controll they forces and they are not your ally.

@ Solo League of Nations did jackshit before 1939, it was just paper made organisation in reality it did nothing to prevent war.

I smoke weed... sometimes even cigarettes. Its not bad and yeah, I find it as gamey tactic. Devs obviously doesnt think to polish players who want to attack Germany right from the beginning of the game..Germans got no army and nobody cares if Poland takes half of the Europe... and you just exploit it..therefore it is gamey tactic but well...who cares...if you like it that way...I wont argue with you about it....

Ye, it is piece of cake...so...I usually boost UK and Soviet AI by adding circa 150IC, 5000MP, lot of resources and ...game is much more challenging....

World conquer as germany is gamey tactic aswell, becasue... it just didn't happen.

Honestly lack of events makes it even harder for Poland you can't create Vichy, bitter peace etc, and allies have declared war once on me, it was one of few time which forced me to load game. So they do care.

You suggest that world conquer as Poland is easy, then try it yourself, people just get anoyed because they are like "wtf is this Poland pwning whole europe?"
 
I didnt say that it is gamey tactic because it just didnt happen..but forget it & enjoy the game. How about manpower? Poland might have serious problems with it.
 
Well I'm aware of that, so I'm trying to annex as fast as possible.

Next I will DoW Greece they have declined non-agression pact with me so I can't allow myself for little bomb under me.

Pupperting Italy I decided has more postive sides then not having big ass yellow map, first now I don't have TC problems (partisants), I won't really need to care about Africa, and free fleet guarding my beaches on southern front.

Next will be France (or Denmark to block skagerrak), rush through Ardeness but I have no intel information what is their division number so it will be very risky, but on other side I can't wait they can DoW me anytime and if I don't atack them soon they can get to strong.

But again it really sucks that you can't control army of your puppets.

And I miss "give province" option from AoD.

do u have the patch for iron cross?? Also, im assuming you used the weak ai option + weakling aggressive... soviet union would attack you as soon as you touched turkey, so would have the allies for attacking some of those countries too. Funny map though.
 
Nope I'm playing normal AI normal agression, no tech cap no IC full cap.

I said I have non-agression pact with SU, and high relations, same with allies, in 35 allies do not gurantee indepedence of Turkey, they get event for that later game as I remeber.

I'm playing AoD + Iron Cross Revision 2.

From recent news Albania was annexed and Greece joined my alliance, to fight for greater good.
