Is there gonna be a Polish 1.05 patch on this page? I have the Polish version of the game and it doesn't work with the English patch, and I hear there are many improvements in the latest patch... or is there a possibility to "English" my Polish version?
 
You could try the English patch.
Or talk to the Polish Publisher

I've used this tool:

It changes some parts of windows register. Then you can install the patch, but I think you should run it from your CK directory (e.g. /Program Files/Paradox/CK).
 
Ow, how great. Just out of boredom, still hoping to see DD in Poland soon, I dug out my ooooold CK game, which just had to crash after some time... so I come to visit these forums (the Polish publisher seems to have given up on us) and there's a new patch.
Which won't install.

On a bummer note to this - my game as Poland from 1000-1325 in which Poland's power dwarfed Byzantium and the Horde and all the rest together is... gone. D'uh.
 
I mean, I installed the tool and it tweaked the registry. Patch 1.05 installed all right. I saw English texts and everything and I was overjoyed (I use English more than Polish even though I live in Poland, and the translation sucked like hell). But when I loaded a game it crashed just after unpausing. The save loaded fine, it just wouldn't let me play. Same with other saves. :(

Or is it normal that saves stop working after patching?
 
All righty then. I suppose my second game will be more interesting in that case. ;) At the moment, it's like 1320 and almost all Muslims have been conquered and I have almost 30 kingly titles and 101 vassals, so it's going to be a short trip from now on, I guess.
 
Always suggested to start a new game with each new patch installed.
