No idea. Could be bill's lovely ME OS (silly me for not going w/ my first instinct, which was to stick w/ 98 for my new box) or summik to do w/ my video card. Or crappy gui code for the scroll bar.
Whatever, I just don't do that any more... ("Doc, it hurts when I do this." "Don't do that then..." ) Waiting w/ baited breath for the 1.10 patch to see if it will fix the savegame reload bug for certain scenarios that I find *much* more annoying. Personally I think it's ME. John J
Actually (back to the original topic) since everybody plays a little differently I'd suggest setting all the options to popup & pause. (well, ok, maybe not the really silly ones ) Try playing for a while, 10 or 20 years (less if a lot of stuff is going on) & then go thru & do sommik else with the ones that are just plain annoying. Repeat as necessary. That's what I did anyway.
