I'm having trouble playing as a republic (specifically Massilia but it happens with any republic) when playing a mod (specifically Lofman's Mod and Reign of the Ancients)

The Populists start off with 400% attraction from 'Long Period of Peace' and as a minor like Massilia, I can't get in a war very quickly (that I hope to survive). Does anybody else have this problem? Anybody know how to edit out this Long Period of Peace at the beginning of the game?

From my understanding, that is caused by using a mod that is incompatible with the beta patch.

Are you using the beta patch?
If so your mod may not be compatible, and you'll need to either use a previous patch or ask the mod-maker for more help.

Edit: Nevermind, didn't see you made two threads.
