I can not set a range of ports, and I don't have enough slots to insert 2300-2400 manually on my router. How can i possibly host? I've got a SpeedTouch546.

Ok so now i was able to open all the ports the stickie says you should open (new router), my friend can see my game in valkyrie but when he joins it says there's no game being hosted in this ip. Why can't i host? 
There may be a firewall issue. In addition to disabling any firewalls you've got (and your friend), try this: Host a game, and then minimise CK. If there's a Windows popunder asking permission to let CK receive data, give it that permission. Your friend should do the same.
