I'm back... from... errr... I can't remember the music...

For those who can't remember me (99,99% of you, I guess), I was a EU I poster (not the kind you hang on the wall), but then I got busy finishing my degree and now I'm not-so-busy beginning a PhD, so...

Can anyone give me a lowdown on information needed for crusader kings regarding Portugal?

I sincerely hope the portucalensis county (later on Portugal)appears on the game!

PLEASE PLEASE give me something to do (cleaning jobs not accepted! :D)

Cheers,

Carlos

I would imagine we'll see Portugal...would be kinda odd to just leave a blank space there.

I would imagine the whole Iberian peninsula is well represented.

well in 1066 Portugal was a County of the Kingdom of Leon :p

lol unless you want to build in a revolt factor for portugal than that means that spainish or portugal will be dragged more into mediterrainian theatre than western europe as intended

Didn´t we just have an argument about this a month or so ago?

Anyway I´d say that with the general loseness binding together the nations at this date there shouldn´t be to much of a difficulty to model a county with a high risk of breaking off.

well it broke off just when a foreign prince was given the county in exchange for marriage

But Alphonso Henriques didn't call himself king until 1139 after defeating the Almoravides at Ourique. But of course he could be the head of a dynasty even if not being the king.:)

It's just this kind of thing I really want CK to model. And with pre-scripted events, but with flexibility in the game engine.

I hope for this to, But I think from Sergei's post it will be like this.
