I've been playing portugal, and trying near the start of the game to make Hanse my vassal. I start with a relation of about 100, i create a military alliance with them, then a royal marriage, give a gift to jack up my relations to 200. Of course its the beginning of the game so we're both catholic. At this point i am still unable to even suggest vassalization. Also none of the mil. alliances, including breaking alliance with them, is highlighted. Can anyone duplicate this problem? is this a bug, or am i forgetting something?
