Hi,
I have a question - is it possible, in some way, take a Valyrian blade from my prisoner? I am asking because when playing as House Harlaw, I've noticed that one of my vassals owns a Valyrian blade. So in order to take it from him (I am that evil) I tried to imprison him and even exiling him but without avail. So is there a way to say 'gotcha!' and usurp the sword?

Worth. Alternatively, as an ironborn you can get a generic Valyrian Steel Sword from the reaving event or, possibly, a named one from physically raiding a holder of an ancestral Valyrian sword. eg; raiding winterfell with your ironborn army and taking Ice from the Starks. Im not completely sure if that last way actually works. Haven't tried it in a long time but physically raiding is fun none the less. I had a game where I made Daenarys, Margaret, Sansa and Brienne my salt-wives from sacking the provinces they were in.

It works, i raided Dragonstone and was able to plunder both Targaryen swords.

Btw. Brienne as salt wife? For Balon? It would have been totally hilarious.

I can confirm that a liege is able to inherit a courtiers/Vassal's family sword on death if there is no living relative left to inherit.

Currently wielding Blackfyre, Red Rain, Orphan Maker and Ice in one each of my four hands as Aegon the Conqueror with 42 martial skill.

Fear me!

It is a bit sad though that I have to wipe out the whole families rather than creating long lasting fueds for this.
