Hey,
My Desktop has the following specs:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9300 @2.50GHz
GPU: GeForce GT 240
Ram: 4.00 GB
Windows 7 64-bit

and my laptop is:

CPU: Intel Core I7-4510U @2.00Ghz 2.60GHz
GPU Intell HD Graphics Family/Intell HD 4400
Ram 8GB
OS: Windows 8 64-bit

Any help would be appreciated, I noticed when I did the can I run this. It told me that I met all requirements for minimum on desktop, but could not run the game???? :(((((((((

The cpu should be ok. You're a bit under minimum with your gpu. You could have lag or it could work ok. We don't know .
To be certain to run the game without lag, you must buy a new laptop.

I am pretty sure my graphics card isn't up to snuff, so I will be getting an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 on Wednesday (was considering the GTX 660 but it was nearly twice as much and would require a new power supply). I am wondering if my CPU will be sufficient though.

Your cpu is better than recommended. With a Nvidia gtx 750 you will have a machine in the recommended ballpark. The new gpu is about ten times faster in passspark than the old one. :)

Welcome to the forum

Desktop: The gpu doesn't support directX 11. Will not run. The cpu is better than minimum.
Laptop: We don't know if Intel cards will work. some laptops have two gpu. Are you sure you only have a intel gpu?

Yes my laptop has integrated graphics. If I needed to upgrade my GPU (Desktop) whats an inexpensive one that will let me play this game?

The best card you can get is an geforce gtx 750/ 750 ti. Both uses less watt than your current gpu so no need for a new psu. I recommend buying one with at least 2gb vram.
If that one is to expensive, give me a list over cards you can afford.
 
I suspect I'll have to upgrade before I buy this game, but let's see if maybe:

CPU - Intel Core i5-3210M (2.5 GHz)
GPU - Video GeForce GT 640M
RAM - 6GB
OS- Windows 7 64 bits

Your gpu are a bit under minimum requirements. Your cpu is better than minimum and you have 8gb. I think you will be ok.

It's a bit old and big (3,5 years) but it will do for now I can't spend more money because university.

Laptop:
HP Pavilion dv7-6160sp

CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-2630QM Quad Core 2 GHz (Turbo Boost 2,9 GHz)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6770M (2 GB GDDR5 dedicated)
Ram 8 GB DDR3
OS: Windows 7 64-bit

your gpu is about minimum, the rest is better than minimum. So you should be ok.

I was hoping for one under or around $100 , since I am literally only buying it to run this game only. I would give you a list but I have no idea where to look! How do I check the watts and ect what do I need to look for??

this costs 80$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127764 It's has a max tdp of 75W, so you should be ok. 75W is what pcie delivers.

Intel gpu is not supported.
 
I also own a MacBook Pro with the following spex:

2,3 GHz Intel Core i7 (Quad) (says it can "turbo boost" up to 3.5 GHz, whatever that means)
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB
RAM: 16 GB

I'm sure the CPU will be fine - just wondering about the GPU...
 
I have a Quad i7-2700k 3.5GHz + 8GB RAM + Geforce 570.
All over 3 years old, can I run the game with optimum settings (all max) or should I upgrade? I can remember times when I upgrade the pc every year...

Your machine is better than recommended, so it should be able to run all max.
