I got some Stirling Gen Prefabs to kickstart construction underground in a new game but they're not available on the caves map, only on the surface.

I'm asking if this is a bug or WAD since while it would make sense that you can't just teleport them there, there's also no way to actually physically transport them underground.

I haven't tried the Underground thing yet, but have you built the Elevator thing? Because it would make sense to me that without the Elevator, you can't move Preabs down to underground. Just a random guess...

Only one side needs to be powered, and if you go to the screen allowing transfer of resources, there's an option to select prefabs as well. Once the prefabs have been sent down on the elevator, you can use them down below like you would above. Please also not that the allowed prefabs will of course decrease on the surface to account for this transfer. You can only use it one prefab building once.

Thank you, it seems so obvious lol but I never realized there was an option to send prefabs, I just assumed they would be available to build like on the surface.
