Guess might as well start this one, for all the things that should make it into 1.1 =)

Note that the expanded graphics is incredible and I'm definitely not here to catalog all the bugs, just the ones I run across. Hopefully other people start helping once they play their first round :p I'm definitely not complaining so far; definitely worth the wait.

Visual Bugs:
x At extremely high resolutions (1920x1200) the "loading settings / cvars / etc." words are cut-off in the initial load. 1680x1050 does not appear to have this issue, nor does 1920x1080
x Same issue upon loading the scenario, same as above.
x At high resolutions, the screen flashes a bunch at random, usually right after clicking something. It does less so at 1680 x 1050 than 1900x1200, and is worst at "loading scenario"

Game Bugs:
x (By design?) America can become fascist / socialist really fast by changing national ideals over and over... :p

Settings launcher
im assuming that the resolution settings in there but when i try and launch it it says launch from the AOD folder. I tried doing so but same message. Idk not a big deal. Seems great guys im really really impressed.
Is not replicated by myself, no issues here.

x Upon selection of tech and starting of tech w/ tech team, list of teams resets to the top (not game-breaking)

---
To show you guys that I'm not all negative here, I'll also include some (personal) Plusses that I really enjoy, even if they're small :)
Awesome fixes from HOI2:DD/ARMA:
x Music volume much more controllable than before.
x Native "sliders can be changed" icon
x Native "Open tech slot" icon
x Amazing detail into the tool tips on the top bar, nice to see where everything goes.
x Amazing statistics, and its amusing to see estonia on the efficiency pie charts at the beginning. Makes me want to to an Estonia AAR.

If it takes two months for the ministers to take office, then yes, one of them had +5% IC. But then I wonder why didn´t the reduction of dissent from 6% to 2.2% have any effect on IC output at all? Doesn´t dissent affect the available IC any more?

Dissent no longer has a direct influence on IC.

Dissent increases partisan activity - and partisans in turn decrease the province efficiency - which dictates the current provinces IC / resource output.

(and as closed dictatorship countries have lower national dissent they can sustain some dissent before getting lower IC)

Oh well, not sure if it's a bug... But the intelligence seems to be a little too powerfull. I mean, while beeing Great Britain, I managed to gather something like 35 spies in germany. I issued assasination orders and...
In about two months I have assasinated something like 5 ministers including... Adolf Hitler o_O

Imo thats a little exploitable

IMHO, it's not a bug. It does remember you that you are playing a game , and so , you can write your own history , or play ahistorical.

... Except I'm pretty sure Britain didn't hesitate to infiltrate Hitler's inner command, it was just, y'know, difficult. He's saying it should be significantly harder. Assassinating five high-ranking Nazi leaders (not to mention Adolf Hitler) in two months would have realistically meant that Nazi Germany was pretty much defenseless at that stage for such a thing to have an even somewhat decent chance of success.

This reminds me, does dissent tie into a greater success chance for covert operations? (E.g. assassinations, coups) If not, it should.

Just noticed something odd. Two lines of production that I think I've restarted show an ETA that is about six months in the past! I think the original end date has not been reset.

See screensave 60 for an illustration.

-Screensave 58 Germany is still grinding away in Russia, but has not quite closed the deal, probably because they do not seem to be concentrating on Leningrad and Murmansk which should be the final VP's necessary for a bitter peace event. Alsno notice the German pocket around Narvik, which hasn't changed in about a year.

-Same picture: Notice the red dots in the bottom left screen? It show submarine actions from many months ago

-Save time by now (february 1943) is about 1.5 minutes

I have noticed that the USA returned provinces to France one by one once they captured them. I don't know if this was by event or new AI diplomatic actions but it was good. The problem is no more countrie benefited from that - Belguim got nothing, Netherlands were not released.

Considering that even from the inside, with active support from the German Army, such a thing was hard to do and resulted in immediate reprisals including a full scale witchhunt, it would be extremely unlikely to have such a high success rate. Just watch the reasonably accurate movie "Valkyrie". Furthermore don't forget Hitler himself escaped at least three separate assasination attempts, often by just not being in the right place at the right time. Also, even assasinations of lower Nazi officials were met with immediate reprisals, which would have deterred many people from proceeding..

All in all, although the game runs pretty well and most of everything works right out of the box, so far there seem to be quite a few balancing options that may need to be adressed, either by a patch or by the players themselves when setting up a game.

Personally, I -very- much like the new feature of being able to give back provinces that I've liberated on behalf of my fellow Allies immediately after defeating occupying forces, allowing the Dutch to take control of Java in the Dutch East Indies again, thereby raising their IC by one point to one out of one... I'm assuming the AI uses this same feature, but there is no script for the smaller allies?

Probably because of the new retooling concept. From what I understood it will update after 90 days.

Both lines have finished retooling a long time ago. I just checked again to be sure and they both still have an ETA in july and august 1942 despite it being feb 1943. It's not a big thing, just a bit odd. And I think they're going to have something to explain to my Armaments Minister. ;)

Lol "Factory 084 I'm told that the tanks you are produceing were due four monthes ago" "No sir my aid made slight error in his estimation" "What will I tell the Fuhrer, the generals have been b****ing him for more tanks again!"

Just bought game will report any bugs I find :)

Playing as France. Start out with 101 base IC and 6 thech slots. However, when I select the intervene in Spanish Civil War (5% dissent) it lowers the base IC to 99. When my next research finishes and I click "go to" (or if I already have the tech page open) I get a CTD. If the game is save after the research is finished but before clicking go to, then that saved game will load up ok and play fine, except of course with only 99 base IC I lose a tech slot. I have experienced this in two different games a France, can attach saved game from second one if wanted.

I think the CTD happens when 1 tech slot is removed due to having only 99 base IC.

Edit: it appears that any action that causes 5% or more dissent, lowering base IC below 100 causes the crash.

Playing as Germany and trying influence Italy, and after a while my diplomat seems to be on the infinite route, and can't do any other action against Italy. Reloading from save doesn't help.

I'm having a "superstack" issue around gibraltar, similar to the channel islands issue in hoi3. Nat Spain joined the axis in 1940 and USA in 1942, USA started to move troops there shortly after. It has been building up slowly over time. I'm playing as Canada (on easy so i get some more IC to play around with).

This feature was in regular HOI2 Arma too, the problem was AI was never using it. Here, in AOD, when I saw France getting provinces by fives I thought the AI might have been told finally to use this diplomatic option, but this didn't happen for more countries :( So for example once Japan was defeated and USA made them their puppet, Japan still kept Philipines and Dutch East Indies :(
