Preordered at GamesPlanet, code not yet received.. Still preordered at launch?

Hey guys,

Quick question; I preordered the game through de.gamesplanet.com yesterday, but had to pay using PayPal. I remember the days when PayPal payments seemed to be fairly instantaneous, but aparently nowadays it can take from anywhere up to 5-8 work days for the money transfer to process..

Hypothetically speaking, let's say the payment comes through somewhere after the game has launched and de.gamesplanet.com sends over the Steam code for me to unlock the game, will I still get the preorder bonuses? I mean, the 'buy date' on my receipt refers to yesterday, but is there a difference between preorder codes and post-launch codes that Steam can verify, even if I activate a preorder code post-launch?

This is all terribly confusing to write down, so hopefully the idea comes through clearly.. Hopefully all this will be resolved before the release date.. In any case, I'm interested in seeing what will happen!

Most stores don't send out the keys early.

You'll get the key on release date, and it will include the bonus DLC.

The bonus has nothing to do with the time of activating the key, the key is associated with a certain package, in your case (and the case of any pre-order keys) the bonus will be included no matter when you activate it.

Pre-Order bonuses are a funny thing anyways, most of the time you'll even still get the bonus when you purchase the game at a later time, due to the above fact.

You're absolutely correct (and I feel like a total fool). I contacted GamesPlanet support and was informed that they'd receive their codes sometime today from Paradox, which would then be forwarded our way come release time.. Thanks for answering in any case!
