Hi guys
Ive away from Ckii for a long time and now im returning, taking all the rust away and remeering all the rules. This is harder with CKII plus rules
Im playing in the 86-something scneario.
Im a female count in the byzantine empire, my faith is chalcedonian and i have AC inheritalance law.
I have fabricated via plot a strong claim in the duchy (theme) my county is.
I have as prisioners both my liege lord (the duke) and his heir (not his son)
I have tried to matrilineal marry the son of the heir of the duchy, but it states i cant because im chalcedonian. ( if im correct this is because im have AC law, but the duchy is absolute cognatic and both the realms must be AC.. Is this right)
I cant usurp my lieges duchy altough he is my prisioner. Im not sure (maybe im wrong) but i think i might be able to release him in exchange for the title.
I tried to release him (blinded) but i cant declare war for my strong claim.
Why is that
