Summary
Primary Title changes on succession resulting in loss of all courtiers and prisonersDescription
As the summary says. Upon succession as a Primogeniture Empire with two empire titles, my Primary Title switches to a different one, and all of my courtiers and prisoners disappear. The only workaround I know is to reload a save and change to the Primary Title it was going to switch to but in advance.Specifically, I hold two empires. "Caliphate" which is a renamed Arabian Empire and "Zarqa Grand Sultanate" which is a renamed Abyssinia. My capital is in the de jure territory of "Caliphate". The bug is that my Primary Title is "Caliphate" and switches to "Zarqa Grand Sultanate" upon succession. The entirety of my court is wiped clean in the process. Reloading the save and setting it to "Zarqa Grand Sultanate" allows succession to go through without the bug - the courtiers and prisoners remain.
I use mods in this run, but the bug occurs regardless without mods enabled. Additionally, this is an issue that has been present for years now. It is not new. Rather than mark my report as a potentially mod-corrupted save and set it to low-priority, you should take a look at the following links to reports of the same bug from over the past 4 years. This is a recurring problem that has never been addressed.

CK III - Primary title changes on succession
Short summary of your issue Primary title changes on succession Game Version 1.5.1 What OS are you playing on? Windows What platform are you using? Steam What DLC do you have installed? Royal Court, Do you have mods enabled? No Have you...
This bug would be devastating to pure Ironman players who cannot make use of the workaround. Normal players should also not have to potentially reload a save upon every single succession just to fix this issue.
Steps to reproduce
Simply load the save attached and run it, then wait for the current ruler to die and be succeeded. The save makes use of many mods, but I've tested the save without those mods and confirmed the same bug still occurs. You can run it clean yourself to double-check.Game Version
