We hope that you are enjoying the new DLC Perfect Storm and "The Tower" free update!

To keep track of all bugs and issues you are reporting, we have created this thread.

Remember to include if you are using mods (and if you do, try to disable them - as sometimes they cause issues) and how to reproduce the bug you are experiencing. Being able to recreate a bug is the first step in understanding what is wrong and how it could be fixed! :)

Known Issues:
  • Pest Control workers become unresponsive when the stay indoors order is active
  • Carpentry grant requires 66 beds instead of 10 in description
  • Part of the guards with stationed status causes them not to move at all on occasion
  • FPS issues when there is a land expansion in any given direction
  • Pest Control trucks are being dismissed as soon as they are called
  • Guards deliver invisible food to prisoners on Lockdown/Solitary
  • Second set of fists appear in Inventory in Escape Mode
  • Blinking objects on the map
  • Some objects partially overlap bunkbeds when placed behind them
  • Available Mods list is truncated if at least one mod is active
  • The yard icon is cut off in Escape Mode
  • Impossible to control time modes via keyboard in Escape Mode
  • Accept your first Grant' task is not shown in the to-do list on the Client's side
  • Broken Jail Doors change colour when closing
  • Text overlapping in 'Grading' section of 'Prisoner Info'

Bug:
Getting spammed the Event "Due to some logistics error, we are receiving extra supplies" More than 5 in a row in just a ingame days.

This happend after I am trying to build a big complex Events is activated and I have every DLC is active but the Psyh ward but no mods.

I am also started a new prison with only the New DLC and event activated and placed down a big foundation and started unpaused the game. The bug still happends with the event triggering very often. There seem to be no cooldown with that event.

I don't own the dlc and keep getting spammed with subsistence and rat damage on parts of my buildings and it won't let me repair them without a repair man. (Which isn't possible without dlc) This leads to my prisoners escaping. Please fix this game breaking bug!

I am running into a problem where in the span of 10 minutes i have had over 15 different disasters, I have restarted the game and it is still happening. and they are always the same disasters, The kitchen will catch on fire, walls will break in 2 different spots at the prison, Rats will be on the loss, People will get sick, I have to remove Radios and equipment from the yards, and the priest Is making the prisoners mad. I keep fixing every thing, but then It just happiness again. And each time the walls break it breaks more and more each time. I need a fix, thank you.

I have already made a large prison and restarting is not an option.

Same problems as related above. Getting spammed with subsidence and rat damage, and the walls that got fixed on the last event get broken too (but even more than before, so it gets worse and worse after each event). Also lots of events in general happening at the same time (fire on the kitchen, revolt for working hours, remove radios, remove benches, remove visitation) literally had all of those at the same time, while still getting subsidence over and over again.
I dont have the new DLC ( Perfect Storm). I own all the other DLCs, and it's running on the update "the_tower 1.01"
No mods. just running regular prison with almost all the options enabled. (Gangs, weather traditional [legacy], jungle plot, events, temperature, fog of war, prisoner transfers, dynamic reputations, criminally insane, staff needs. No warden mode, No Mutators.)
It only started happening after my prison got more than 50 prisoners. I had 60 at some point, now I have 52 (they escaped through the broken wall :rolleyes:)

Infinity "less food demand" fine by director. Impossible to complete task.
I've tried set the food variety to "none" and "low", but I still get an infinite penalty.

Game Language: Russian
Buyed DLCs: 0

Modlist(I have only visual mods):
- Additional Guard Sprites
- Additional Staff Sprites

So i just finished bulding a prison, and i noticed that even after ive researched everything, i cannot start training or classes for inmates. When i try to start a workshop class it says requires "prison labour" to be researched. or the foundational eduation class requires "eduacation" to be researched. even though they have been researched already. i noticed this on another prison i built. and i selected the "all research completed" in the extras option. thought it was a flux and built another and just did the research myself. same outcome.
 
Guards/Armed Guards stationed in pavilions (standard and all 4 corner varaints) do not shoot or taze. In the attached screenshot you can see the armed guard clearly ignoring the escaping inmates.
This bug has been in the game since pavilions were introduced. Pavilions are simply pointless to have in their current state.

Idling Janitors, Gardeners and Cooks just hang about in the top of the map. Cooks particularly are an issue as they will take a long time to walk back to the kitchen which can cause food issues for prisoners. A current workaround is assigning cooks to kitchens

[Psych Ward] Unassigned Orderlies no longer have an idle animation (Example hanging about in Canteens, yards and reception) They just freeze in place until they are "called" to deal with prisoners

It appears most staff no longer scatter when idling, be it orderly, armed guard etc.

with the new non-lethal snipers, if you have them it makes snipers ALWAYS knock inmates unconscious with a single shot which is awesome for architect mode but borderline impossible for escape mode
