Prison Architect wont start (epic games launcher) solved

Can anyone help me, i was playing the game and then pressed exit by accident and wanted to relaunch the game but it wont launch anymore. when i launch the game form emic games the Paradox launcher opens and when i click play, it closes and nothing happens.

I have same problem too. I think the problem is on the side of epic games. it started doing this after lunch today.

Does this error line in the launcher log indicate the cause?

I also have the GOG version, which starts up fine...

ok then, I tried to turn on the Beta version in the Launcher setting. I let the update install and then turned off the Beta versions. And then the game started. we'll see how long.

I've been getting the same issue, but changing the launcher to beta doesnt work

Hi, i have the same problem and the debug file is not created (i deleted the PA's AppData files to see if the error was gone). The post on dowser.exe appears normally, but the game not start and i dont receive any error message. The files on Epic Games was verified, i unistalled and installed the game and nothing, i uninstal and reinstall the Epic Games launcher and nothing, i verified my system files and nothing wrong and reinstalled Visual Studio too.
