How do you save the game in the tutorial for EU1? I've looked in the FAQ's (Oranje's won't load) but I can't find an answer.

Before a certain patch, it wasn't allowed. Do you have the latest EUI patch? (1.10)
If you update your game to v1.10, you should be able to save the tutorial like you would any other scenario.

But why would you want to save the tutorial? Once you've got the hang of how to play, go ahead and jump into one of the campaigns. If it's because you want to play Eire, they're in the Fantasia scenario, too!

I downloaded 1.1. When I tried to run it, it said that it could not find an installed version of EU1.
I'm running Xp if that makes a difference.

Hmm.. I'll assume you meant 1.10 and not 1.1, but what most likely is going on is that you got the wrong patch. There are four of them, IIRC, based upon language/distributor.
