So I bought the steam version a while ago. Everything worked, but yesterday I tried to run mods for the first time. Now when I try to launch the game I get a message "A Paradox Launcher installation was found, but it's not working. Would you like to reinstall?"
I say yes or no, doesn't matter. The same message comes up either way "Could not start the Paradox Launcher at ...[File Path] The requested operation requires elevation.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling PA on Steam, restarted the computer. uninstalling the launcher, nothing seems to work.
