Problem w/ EU2 Asian Chapters

I was wondering about some of the same issues as the creator of this thread and I don't know if they are bugs or just weird/strange things about EU: AC

There's no music in the game and I can't get any to play.
There's no MP mode.
The ruler names are symbols instead of being names.
The intro graphics for the secnarios are all Chinese/Japanese charcters.
The resolutions are REALLY off -- the bar on the left side of the screen where you see your provience info, etc. does'nt take up the whole left side of the screen and look normal like in EU 2 -- instead it only goes about half way down the screen and is all scrunched up.
The graphics have little errors in them and look kind of shoddy.

And there seems to be no patch for EU: AC.

Can anyone who has the game tell me about the above issues? Thanks. :)

Great news, I'm glad my suggestion was hopefully the breakthrough. :)

I spend about 20 hours working on these issues. here's my post on the issue:

The characters appear to be Chinese. no way to change this,except you can change the ruler names by directly modifying the corresponding minster/leader files (the names are in chinese as well ;) )

Beyond this, enjoy a 'made in China' version of a paradox game. Talk about a paradox :wacko:

I have seen references to the need to install language files in order to get the text to work.
What language files are needed and where do I get them from?

Start - Control panel - Regional and language fiiles.

I would suggest to make a copy of your text.csv, open it in the Notepad/Editor, search for that line, change the colored part, save it (NOTE: it has to be named text.csv - not text.csv.txt) and try it out. If it doesn't work, you still have the backup.

EDIT: It seems to be the same problem as mentioned [thread=103318]here[/THREAD].

I bought the Strategy Pack.

In the EU2Asia game, I have this line:
COTIW_DRO;%d$: Total trade in this CoT\n%d/20: %s's share of that trade\nx0.%d: %s's Trade Level\n= %.1f$ yearly trade income for %s from this CoT;;;;;;;;;;X

In the EU2 game, which I upgraded to 1.08, I have this line:
COTIW_DRO;%d$: Total trade in this CoT\n%d/20: %s's share of that trade\nx%.2f: %s's Trade Level\n= %.1f$ yearly trade income for %s from this CoT;;;;;;;;;;1924

Both still CTD when I hover mouse over the nation shields in the trade window. I believe the 2nd one here is already the same as your advice here. Is there anything else I should do?

dmh0667, are you still having any of the problems with the CoT? Did you do anything else beside change that line?
