I've installed the 4th Crusade mod but it freezes when I try to start a game in that scenario. Is there any known solution or even an error log I can find?

The most likely reason why it crashes is that the mod isn't updated for the latest CK and/or DV version.
Try the DVIP mod which has an updated version of the 4th crusade scenario mod
