Ran into this "bug" tonight. I built an elevated train between the two sides of a freeway. Trying to build an off ramp that curves over them though proves to be impossible. Apparently it's too wide, and there's no place for the supports of the off ramp to fit so it says it's occupied.
It's debatable if this is truly a "bug" but I'd say it is, as what I'm trying to do in the screenshot isn't something that's too ridiculous (ignore that the ramp down on the other side would be to steep for the room there
). The height is correct to get over it, it's just the pillars fall on the road so it won't let it. It seems to me the programming should be changed to stretch out the supports a bit in this situation, which the game already does if you were to try and build a straight bridge perpendicular over it. In other places where I wanted roads to go over this, I was able too exactly how I said, but off ramps you can't build with 90 degree turns, so it won't work here, or any sort of curve won't work here.
I don't have a screenshot of it, but the same was true when I tried the curve the train track off to the side over the freeway, it just won't let you. I had to rebuild the freeway interchanges so I could go straight and down with the track, out the other end of a T-interchange, and THEN curve the track the direction I wanted.
Thanks
