Problem with exporting Victoria save

Hi, I bought revolutions some hours ago and immedietly started a great war scenario. Everything runs fine until 1936 when I try to export the game. The screen gets black and I get a "Programmet svarar inte" which in english i guess would be the program doesn't respond or something like that. I still look in the export folder and find a EUG-file but not the small 1kb other file which is connected to the save. I then try to export before end of scenario but same thing happens..I installed over 1.04 but I read that wouldn't make a difference. I also got VIP installed but that's in another folder...

played a GC game and it will not export the game askes if i want to export and when i press the button it just crashes

The update which does fix a problem with coverter is now out. Hopefully this will solve most of your problems.

Where is said update? The vicky rev page doesn't show any patches, 'cause that's where I looked after finishing with the Netherlands as a GP.

Found the update and installed it, it works after a fashion. (lots of terra incognita).

Can't find this particular sticky but will look in gamers gate for further patches

Can't Build New Industry

I can actually get the save to export but after I load up DD I am unable to build industry and many of my provinces have strange IC values like .02/.02. Is this a bug or is it supposed to work this way?

You may not start out with enough techs to build industry.

As for the 0.2/0.2 that could be ok, just so long as some countries (perhaps yours included) have big IC numbers. The total world IC should be about 2000, so if the big 3 or 4 (typically UK, USA, GER and then france, russia, or japan) have a couple of hundred IC each at least then its probably ok.
