Hi folks.

I have polish version of ck2 and i have problem with language. There is no correct description of buttons or events, only short text like from wordpad. New events from old gods shows only for example EVTDESC6060 and action you can choose EVTOPTA6060. Even when I switch my version to english in steam game it doesn't help. It's even worse than in polish version.

How can I resolve this problem?

Thanks.

Yest, i have noticed that formerly people had the same problem with previous patches. I have send an email to cenega. But i have one more question. How can I buy again the same game on Steam but with different activation code? Steam informs me that I've already bought ck2 and i cannot buy it again (clean english version, not cenegas). It's 10 euro, so I can afford it.

Hello Hulagu,

Thanks for the feedback on the polish localization.

You should not have to buy the game again to get the English version. Simply right click CK2 in your Steam library -> Properties -> Language -> Change to English and start the game.

Best Regards

Yes, i have done that, but as i mentioned before it didn't help. It's even worse in english version (mix of polish and english language).

That is strange :/ The thing is that there should be no difference if you installed another key for the game as they should be the same ones :/ Perhaps your computer language somehow mix things up? Could you try setting your OS language temporarily to English just to see if there is any difference?

The solution, as discovered by Catra, is to change the language in Steam's properties (right click crusader kings II in Steam -> Properties-> Language tab) choose English. It will download missing localization files then.

Having English set at game launch does not help - Wezqu, I've been playing in English exclusively for months and had the messed up localizations until I did what Catra did.
P.S. AndrewT just added this to known issues.
