Problem with patch password. Please help!

I've got the Steam version and I'm trying to unpack the 1.01.1 patch. I'm using the password provided but I'm getting "unexpected end of archive" and "Corrupt file or missing password" messages.

I've tried re-downloading the patch and using different programs to unpack it. Is there anything else I can do?

No, except for trying few more times.
Re-download the pack and make sure it is exactly 105'775'844 bytes in size.
The latest 7-zip can unpack the archive without problem.
The password just have to be copy-pasted from the text file.

If nothing helps, then the only problem I can think of is that you have a hardware malfunction (probably faulty RAM) that causes error on unpacking file that big.

My packed patch file isn't quite that size. I must have somehow downloaded it twice incorrectly. I've been using the Megaupload mirror so I'll try for a third time from a different mirror. Thanks a lot for the quick reply.
