Problem with the Steam version...

I have two issues with this game. I just bought the complete collection from Steam, and have run into a problem.

1. Whenever I start, the opening video is completely green tinged, and I have to ctrl+alt+del to exit BINKvideo. It runs fine after that.

2. I cannot patch to 1.3. It isn't working for some reason.

Any help?

I can help you with number 1

Rename the AVI folder to AVIBack to avoid the intro movie.

As for 2 I am assuming you are playing Armageddon 1.2 from Steam and have tried to apply the 1.3 beta patch.

Unfortunately the 1.3 beta patch modifies the EXE file for the game and due to Steams anti-piracy changes to the game they may not be compatible. I cannot confirm nor deny this as the Arma Patch Project was never provided with a Steam version of Armageddon. As such we cannot confirm if there is any specific Steam version changes that are not compatible with our 1.3 Beta patch changes to the EXE.

When the 1.3 Beta patch is deemed Final (and it will be some day I promise) then i am almost certain that a steam compatible 1.3 version of the patch will eventually be released (if need be).

Wish I had better news for you about number 2.

I would like to know this too!

I just bought EU3 Complete and found where I could see the CD Key for that, and have added that to my forum account, but can't find how to do that for the HOI2: Complete Pack I have purchased similarly?

I tried verify game integrity and all that, can't get the option to view CD Key, nor can I find it in registry or game files.
