"Problem with your installation" solved

If you are running windows 7 and you try to run your installed game and it tells you that there was a problem with install and reinstalll then the solution is:

- dont run the game via the installed shortcut in your start->games shortcut.
- goto the install DIR probably c: programfiles\ and run the game directly without the shortcut. you can even make your own shortcut from there and put on your desktop. works for me. goodluck.

I'm running windows 7 but it didn't even put a shortcut on my desktop. I had to find it and make one myself. I'm not having any problems though. The crashing bug has stopped since I turned off 3d ports.

No it wont put a shortcut on your desktop. On win7 its in the start menue under games. But if you try to run the game with that it wont be able to start.

From what I understand windows 7 is based on the XP kernal, whereas rumor has it that Vista was based on the ME kernal. I wish MS would let ME die. It was a piece of junk the first time around.
