Problem

I have a slight problem.
When I play my game, all my resources (including supplies) suddenly become 5 times bigger. I don't think that's good as it spoils gameplay. How can I solve this problem?

Btw, I play Mod34. Could it have something to do with this?
And if i give the spare resources to vatican city, will they do anything with it? Because that would be pretty bad.
