I just bought EU: Rome a few days ago and I really like it so I bought the expansion VV off of gamersgate and installed it. I had a previous saved game playing as Rome but I can't seem to access it when starting up the game now that I've downloaded the expansion. Every time I try to click the saved game, it takes about until I can actually respond (the cursor changes from an hourglass to an arrow) and the map in the middle of the screen has no color so I cannot load the nation that has loaded. In short, I cannot load my game now that I've downloaded the expansion.
I'm sure I can run the game on my system since I can run more demanding games on my computer. I have the latest patch installed also. Any help would be appreciated. I would not like to have to restart another game
