Problems with downloading mods (region packs) at the paradoxplaza

Steps to reproduce​

can not download the ragion packs from the paradoxplaza (or any other mods). eveytime i started to download a region pack the download stopped at 13% and different error messages appeared (the mod could not be added to your playset this time, try again to synchronise; you have no internet, try again [I was deffenetly online because the downlaod alreday started}) I tried to install all of the region packs (especially germany) more then one time and i tried other mods, but nothing worked.

Expected Result​

wanted to play with these expansions, so i added them at the paradoxplaza

Actual Result​

they stopped downloading everytime with different error messages

The region packs, like all mods for this game, always download to your C: drive, regardless of where the game itself is installed.

They are very large and take a LOT of room, check you have at least say 64gb of free disk space on C:

I have more then 100 gb free Disk Space at my c Drive. Where can i See the packages and do i have to move them? I tried to Download the Herman Region pack from the official paradox Website and added it to a mod file i found in the Game data, but then the Game did Not starten anymore. I only had a Blackscreen for Hours but could move my mouse.

What should i do? I thougt it would be easy to install mods with the paradoxplaza…

Do you have a stable internet connection? What is your download speed (speedtest.net)? It might take a long time if you have slow internet. It might not fully work if your internet connection is unstable or gets disconnected at some points.

I tested my Download Speed and i am about 730 mbps. The Connection is stable.


I am Not the only ins with this issue, in the general cs2 Forum a few days ago someone explained the same Problem and others aggreed, is it possible the the paradoxplaza has a Problem?

I am experiencing the same issues and have been for some time. I even did a clean re-install twice (removing local folders leftover, etc). Are there any updates on fixing the region pack downloads?
