I have a question about IGC 2.2c, still the same problem as with b. I install it according to the instructions yet the game crashes on Jan 1, 1500 no matter what. I am using the NA release, 1.09. It is a clean install of EU and then IGC 2.2c.
In my attempts to get this to work I discovered that IGC starts off with 16 conflicts in the monarch and leader files (only 13 with IGC 2.2b), there are no .pru2 files (or .txt2) or anything with 4 characters, several files names are spelled differently (ie: monarchs.kri as compared to monarchs.cri for Crimea), I have 3 scenario folders (one that came with the game, one that came after getting the 1.09 patch, and one that shows up due to IGC - why do I have 3? From my experiments it only uses the first one and the igcconfig file doesn't work until I manually move the files from the IGC scenario folder to the original Scenarios folder).
I did find out that if I removed the conflicting files in the leader and monarch area the game will progress past Jan 1, 1500, but I'm still not able to use the Unified Prussia option, and it looks like the game still crashes sometime in the late 1600's (but it takes to long to get that far so I haven't tested it much yet)

From your description I am pretty certain that you are not extracting the IGC into your main EU folder, allowing it to overwrite any files it wants to.

From my experiments it only uses the first one and the igcconfig file doesn't work until I manually move the files from the IGC scenario folder to the original Scenarios folder).

If you correctly extract the IGC zip into your main EU folder there will not be two scenario folders. Just the one.

Oh, and the .kri file is not used by the game, but it will show ID conflicts, just as the .pru and .bra files will if you turn on the "Unified Prussia" option and run EuCheck.

You might as well delete the .kri file.

Yes, I am extracting the file from the main EU directory and nearly all of the files are going to the correct place - since I have to tell the puter it's okay to overwrite all those files.
The scenario files go into a newly created folder, "Scenario", whereas the ones that come with the game and what the game uses are in "Scenarios" (minor spelling difference but it doesn't work without that "s").

As for the Unified Prussia option, that is not even an option for me to use. The igcconfig file says that it can't find the monarchs.pru2, leaders.pru2, and revolt.pru2. I can't even find those files doing a search on my whole computer.

So I have the conflicts between .pru and .bra, .tus and .tos, .kri and .cri (which i will delete the .kri), which other ones should I move/delete?

Lychor, I think you (or your computer) have hosed something up. I have the NA version with 1.09 patch and the IGC 2.2c and it overwrites just fine. May I suggest reinstall, repatch and reload the IGC? Yeah it's a pain but it will probably do the trick.

"May I suggest reinstall, repatch and reload the IGC? Yeah it's a pain but it will probably do the trick"

Yes, I have already done that, and every time I get the exact same result. I can get everything except the Unified Prussia option to work by doing some moving/deleting of files on my own (just those dealing with the conflicts in the leader/monarch files and from the Scenario folder to the Scenarios folder).

Otherwise everything extracts to where it's supposed to. I'm just wondering about how to get the Unified Prussia option to work now.

There should only be a Scenarios folder, not a scenario folder. Only thing I can think is that you delete aeverything, and reinstall. You have one too many folders. On the reinstall take the defaults, don't customize. When you apply the IGC, make sure to unzip into the EU root directory, then go into that directory and run patch.exe. Run IGCconfig.exe prior to play and choose United Prussia. I'm sure you've tried all this already but I can't think of anything else that might be wrong.

You are correct in that I have tried all that before. I don't do custom installs anyway, and as for the Scenario(s) folder, I just copy and paste everything over to the correct one.
The Unified Prussia option is not an option, I can't check it because the igcconfig disables it because it can not find "leaders.pru2", "monarchs.pru2", and "revolt.txt2". And I can't find those files either.
