Some time ago my own PC went the way of all good old things.
So after I got hold of my fathers PC (running WinXP Professional) and tried to install Victoria. The Install reached 99% when it reported that a file was missing (data3.something).
So I had to abort the installation process. It seemed that most data was installed but the exe files were missing in the Victoria folder.
Lacking a direct uninstall I tried to uninstall it via winXP. It finished the uninstall saying that the game was erased from my hard drive. But the damn thing didnt disappear. (Says that the whole game is about 1.09 MB). After that I tried to reinstall the game. Apart from not beeing given the option on the opening screen (the installation button is greyed out) the uninstall button brings up 3 possibilities (change, repair or delete). I tried to repair the install which didnt work. Same goes for delete which has the same effect as my unsuccessful attempts with the uninstall option. And if I use change, which actually starts to install the game, the game tries to install itself into the windows directory (BtW I dont have enough HD space on the windows HD to install the frickin game)
Any suggestions on how I could proceed?
