I had HoI Anthology, but my files got corrupted because of some problems with mods, and my CD was stolen. Now I bought HoI DD and cannot repair the files, becuase a problem arises at the begining with a file that ends in libbz or libzz. So I try to uninstall the game but keep getting a core component files error (fatal erro  ). I am doing something wrong? Anyone knows what the problem could be?

One last detail: my PC is in spanish, and my folders are also in spanish :)

Might be too late, but try this.

- Delete the files manually.
- Go into the registry (start -> run -> type in "regedit" without the "") and remove all files related to HOI2 and/or Paradox (don't remove files from other Paradox games). There is a seach function. ONLY DO THIS IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. IF YOU DELETE SOMETHING BY ACCIDENT YOU CAN SCREW UP YOUR PC.
- Reinstall the game.

I have had this "core component files error" many times.
