Rename AVI folder to AVIBack
Update video drivers.
If this doesn't help try the following
1. Save all save games in safe place
2. Uninstall HOI2 DD
3. Turn off UAC. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/wind...nt-control-uac-the-easy-way-on-windows-vista/
4. Reinstall HOI2 DD outside of the c:\program files area .. like c:\games\HOI2DD
5. Patch to 1.3
