Along with my other Procedural Objects Font: Montburgh Highway Shields, and my ongoing project: City of Montburgh, I have also made a Highway Arrows font as well.
This mod includes a lot of directional arrows for highway navigation signs, taken and adapted directly from the United States' Manual for Uniform Traffic Control Devices. These arrows include lane splits, turns, roundabouts, and one- and two-lane Exit Only plaques, each consisting of multiple characters placed together in a given pattern (usually distinguishable from the font table provided in-game as well as described below).

These, like any other Procedural Objects font, is applied to a prop (such a sign) by placing and editing it via Procedural Objects and using the Text Customization and adding a new text field, then selecting the appropriate font.

Font Table, with Procedural Object's grid as well as Arial overlayed over it:

The top section is pretty self explanatory. The lower section looks a little more complicated, so let me explain.
The most commonly used Exit Only tab is going to be the E11-1 one-lane distant (the one with a single black down-pointing arrow) is made by typing "12345" into a text field using the MB Arrows font. It's alternative; E11-1d (the one with a single black angled arrow) is made by typing the same thing, but while holding SHIFT (if using the number bar on the top of the keyboard rather than the numpad). The next one is the E11-1f two-lane distant (the one with two black down-pointing arrows) is made by typing "67890-=". It's alternative; E11-1e (the one with the two black angled arrows) is made by typing the same thing, but while holding SHIFT. The smaller, sperate E11-1a and E11-1b Exit Only tabs are made by typing "[]" for "Exit" and when holding SHIFT for "{}" for "Only". The E11-2 Left tab is made by typing "\/"

Here are a few screenshots of the arrows in use:
