Do you know Galactic Civilizations 2? Or Distant Worlds (which takes 4x space game to an extreme level)? The most extreme 4x space game would be Space Empires 3. But it's rather old. 5 isn't as good.A Space GS with a good base, good AI and great balance, well defined and full Diplomatic actions, given you choose the correct paths in research/construction/exploitation etc, and fu*king good replayability.
Distant worlds was good until I realized that beating these ancients was impossible. I had full technology which you can get as humans, built up an impressive fleet. The fleet was so big that the game slowed down so much it was borderline playable. I just looked how fast they built up a ships. Literary in a few seconds they build 3 or so ships. I didn't even have the time to bomb the planet before they built up another fleet. And I have played GC2 as well. I don't remember if I played Space empires games but I would guess yes.Do you know Galactic Civilizations 2? Or Distant Worlds (which takes 4x space game to an extreme level)? I have played every space strategy game out there. I think I have a problem T.TDo you know Galactic Civilizations 2? Or Distant Worlds (which takes 4x space game to an extreme level)? The most extreme 4x space game would be Space Empires 3. But it's rather old. 5 isn't as good.
True true, I only played one game with those events active and they came pretty early and I wasn't ready to stop them at once. At first they didn't do much but colonizing and taking over independent worlds. But when I tried to attack them with the best fleet I had (owning 3/4 of the galaxy) I bombed them into oblivion on the first world they had but then we were at war and they invaded me like everywhere. I still won in the end... but I literally had to DESTROY every planet they had Deathstar style which is actually too easy lol. Jump right next to planet, 10 seconds to charge, IMA FIRIN MAH LAZOR, on to the next planet! The galaxy was a very very empty but peaceful place...Distant worlds was good until I realized that beating these ancients was impossible. we don't know because the image is cropped.More like scrap in space by the look of the image...![]()
As in, it might have a PDS logo on it, but it was not included in the crop. (Hopes and dreams boys, hopes and dreams...).we don't know because the image is cropped.

they added the logo for things that were PDS. that's not PDS. i would guess thats a PI game called "ancient space game" (based on their domain registration) http://whois.domaintools.com/ancientspacegame.com
Probably "Ancient Space" in any case, assuming the domain registration was not a joke. The domain ancientspace.com is registered by a mafia of domain holders and they ask for a $2,395 ransom to hand it over, so... in case "Ancient Space" was a thing, PDS would have added "game" at the end to avoid being blackmailed by those Internet criminals.
