Do y'all know if resurrected colonists keep their profession? (Scientist, Geologist, etc.?) Or just traits?

I'm not sure about 'very'. Definitely don't need the extra colonists. Combined with a Sanitarium it would cut down on the number of negative traits across your colony...
A 50/50 chance to keep your celebrities, geniuses, and saints is not a bad deal. I've had a couple colonies with multi-generational phoenixes with fancy traits.
I played with mods that cut the birth rate down a lot, so overpopulation wasn't an issue for me. I haven't played since Battletech came out though - which was the same day as Opportunity.
Thanks Ivan! Between that and the coming back as a youth, not a child (which I had overlooked before), that is quite a great breakthrough!
