Prosperous company cannot produce prestige good (no journal entry)

Prosperous company cannot produce prestige good (no journal entry)

Description​

My steel company cannot produce prestige steel. There tooltip says that prestige good is disabled and the company must be prosperous (check) and journal entry "Refined steel" must be completed. I have no such journal entry.
I think this bug is caused by the fact that I already completed this journal entry but for another company. In the middle of the game I created generic steel company and completed access to refined steel. Then I decided to disband it and create another steel company: flavored "Gio. Ansaldo & C." as it has more Industries and different prosperity bonus. Now it is prosperous, but there are no journal entry for the refined steel.

Steps to reproduce​

1. Create (steel) company
2. Make it prosperous, complete journal entry to get access to prestige good
3. Disband company
4. Create company with the same prestige good
5. Make it prosperous
6. Grieve upon refined steel

Currently, the prestige good journal entries can only be completed once per country. I agree that it should be repeatable though

Since this new prestige goods content is in 1.9.6, unfortunately a save from 1.9.5 will not benefit from this.
Id recommend starting a new save from 1.9.6

Since this new prestige goods content is in 1.9.6, unfortunately a save from 1.9.5 will not benefit from this.
Id recommend starting a new save from 1.9.6

As the OP states, this is due to having completed the same prestige good entry previously. Though you're also correct that there can be other reasons it doesn't appear.

Highly unlikely. The oldest save for this campaign (02.02.1936) is from 1.9.6. Also I have a new prestige small arms from generic weapon company, so it seems to work.
