Province Faith

Province faith ratings don't seem to move regardless of what I do. I've given provinces to heroes whose traits are supposed to shift faith without any visible result, and choosing the "Conversion" option on one of the "Monks and Preachers" quest didn't do anything.

Is there a delay, and if so how long does it last? I didn't take notes, but I'm pretty sure I've had a province under a liege who was supposed to move its faith for a fair bit of time without results.

I've got a save from right before the quest, which might help if you can't reproduce the problem.

EDIT: A savegame has 3 files: .inf, .jpg, .sav all with the same name of course.

Okay, upon further investigation it was at least partially user error: the quest effects take place the next turn.

I still can't make the "Faithful Christian" trait do anything though, so I sent the save anyway.
