Problems introduced in version 3.00

Performance on PS4 has gotten noticeably worse. The game lags and stutters more when moving around and playability suffers.

Saving the game ruins the brightness of the graphics. Restart required.

Holding triangle button to select path shape no longer works after paths have been moved to the new Decorations tab.

Scrolling no longer works properly when navigating the Milestones view and Policies (City Planning tab) view.

Icons hovering above buildings now fade halfway underground when zooming out, making them harder to see.

Intelligence Agency coverage area efficiency is identical to Police Headquarters. The description of the new building suggests it's supposed to cover a larger area. When also taking into account that the Intelligence Agency comes with higher maintenance costs (water usage), fewer patrol cars and holding cells than the Police Headquarters, then it doesn't add up from a balance standpoint (High-Tech DLC service building).

Nanotechnology Center does not attract visitors as well as tourists and the leisure info view doesn't recognize its impact on the surrounding area. I haven't tested all the unique buildings added in the Content Creator Pack, so there could be others not working (High-Tech DLC unique buildings).

Pop-up "tutorials" and warnings don't close when pressing the circle button.

Problems carried over from version 2.00

Bus and Tram stops don't always appear in the correct side of the road.

Education info view doesn't always illustrate education levels in households correctly.

Public transport info view does not display age demographics correctly. When selecting a transport line, there's a mismatch between number of total passengers and number of passengers across the different age groups.

Hello moderators? Are you doing something with all the complaints?

It would be nice to get some response from you at least.

Love the game. Hope to see it fixed soon. Or to hear that a fix is being worked on.
 
I dont think there will be any answers from CO here. I always thougt they are differnet, at the beginning of CS they even answered my messages in fb very fast and friendly. Which dev would do this?! To get in personal contact with them was great. But since there are so many questions and bugs on the console version and no sign of answers i must admit i changed my mind about them. I cant continue my city without the bended paths, its a small bug but no fix yet. Not even a sign that there will be a fix soon.
 
Hey, sorry for the late response however know that the devs are aware of the current issues on PS4 and are working on resolving them asap! Can't make any promises on when we can put out a patch but we are on it!

Thank you! All we ask for is some acknowledgement and transparency once in a while. I think it helps us be a little more patient when we understand that the developer is aware of the problems and actively working on fixing the game. Now about adding the terraforming tool... ;-)
 
I am well aware and I swear I'll try to be better at this going forward! Been quite swamped in the recent past however going forward I will be able to be way more dedicated to Cities as our Community Team is expanding!

As for terraforming I dare not say anything at this time <3
 
Lets hope these bugs are fixed when the upcoming Natural Disasters DLC is released and that no new bugs creep into the game. We would definitely appreciate more communication since us console gamers feel completely ignored
 
Hey! You're not entirely wrong.. That said there is a lot of exciting stuff coming very soon! We do believe we've been able to adress all the worst issues plaguing PS4 in our next patch! That as well as terraforming is now just one week away!

Thank goodness. May help to make a separate announcement thread in the main Console part of the forum.
 
It's a little to early to make hard statements/promises on it, I have however heard that the build is looking good! We'll surely release full patchnotes along with the release however so just be patient a liiittle longer! :')

Thanks for the update, I appreciate the effort, I know that some people over here get too impacient, but may I suggest a better comunication within this forums, maybe with that the reception of this versions of the game will be better :)
 
good communication would come a long way. But let me ask you this why does it take months to put the curved footpaths back into the game while it was already there but then got moved to a diffirent location with the patch only they forgot to add the option in there to make curved food paths so why would it take so long to just enable this again ?? Other companies can make Hotfixes why can't paradox. I been in contact with sony and there has not been any patch provided to them for approval waiting not until this past week which is the patch that will finally come out before tuesday when the Natural Disasters DLC gets released. Next time make a hotfix for such mistakes so you guys don't piss off every single customer on console.
