PS4 Achievements NOT Unlocking

Played this game from start to finish with my friend and I have the Achievements for going through the game on Bananas difficulty and he doesn't have them unlocked.

We did EVERYTHING together.

Are you guy saying he has to go through the whole thing with HIM being the host in order for him to unlock the achievements?


Please help and thank you for taking the time to read this.

I have a similar situation. My friend and I played through (on PC) on normal and on bananas. He got achievements for completion, I did not. He was the host for these games. Also, I received the unlocks for completion, just not the achievements through steam.

One thing I noticed, when you go through the menus and select what chapter to create your game in, you see checkmarks on completed difficulty on the menu. I noted that the game shows I've completed all but the final chapter.

Since noticing this, I've completed the final chapter on bananas several times (alone, in a group, host, not host etc) and still did not get the achievements. Sorry it isn't a solution but it shouldn't be a host issue (to the best of my knowledge).

Me too.
No achievements such as "we have normality".
No checkmarks on completed chapter 9 on any difficulty.
 
Yep. Im in the same boat. Even worse is that my buddy and I beat the game with me as the host and he got the trophy but I didnt. I wish a dev would address this issue and let us know what they think. I deleted my save and am gonna beat the game again to see if it unlocks that way. I will post back in a day or two to let you guys know the result.

I've beat the final chapter several times on bananas with different robes/staves/swords/voices etc. No luck with any combination. Hopefully the fresh start helps.
 
Sorry guys havent had time to play much lately. Ill try and beat it again soon but im doubtful it will work. I wish a dev would address this issue and perhaps provide a solution.

I realize trophies and achievements are not of paramount importance but it is exceedingly frustrating to have them glitch and become potentially unobtainable.
 
Would be nice to see one of the devs actually bother to reply or even look at the issue seen as its affecting a lot of players. I've completed all other trophies apart from the three campaign related ones and its frustrating. I've paid for the game so why should it be broken and unable to be completed?

This thread apparently warranted developer attention and it came down to a chapter left incomplete. I know the game seems to think I have a chapter incomplete in spite of my efforts but I've about exhausted myself of ideas to make it work. It would definitely be great to get further attention on this issue.

I have just deleted my save, uninstalled and will begin from the very start... will report back once completed. FYI I'd recommend getting all Archie's before doing so. I have luckily...
 
Sorry for all the posts...

Turns out you can't make a new save. I deleted all saves from ps4 and online storage but the game seems to reload your progress from somewhere else? Now stuck with what I believe is a bugged save that won't let me complete the friggin game... Annoyed!
 
4th (and final) post. Have again completed on all difficulties to try and see if anything has changed. And to no surprise it's a no. Good luck anyone else trying to complete, I'm just going to be getting a refund and moving on - cya all
