PS4 Incompatible save version detected

Have played the game for some time. Have purchased a number of DLC packs over the years. I Played yesterday and saved the game. Today I can't start game. Message starts Incompatible save version detected........... No changes have been made by me since yesterday.
Under Profile/Games - Cities Skylines not shown but other games are.
After initial cities skylines screen and going into Playstation Store it shows purchased game and purchased DLCs.
I would appreciate some help in getting me back up and running. I tried the usual switch off and restart.

Please try this:

- uninstall the game from the PS4

- clear the PS4 cache and game files (save game data)

Yes.. because you will sign in with your previous account.

I have tried what you advised. Saved my game data. Uninstalled the game. Cleared the cache, rebuilt the database. Tried to set the PS4 as my primary but get error code NP-34958-9. I Restored licences and it stated 28 of 28 restored. Still same message when trying to load previous city , Incompatible save version detected. Required DLC PACKS .......,are missing. Will start a new vanilla game . What next to try?

I frankly have no idea; while there have been issues with this game on the PSx recently, this is not one of them!

Can you start, play, save, and reload a new city okay?

Strange things. Previous city would not load as previous. Started a new city with all restrictions lifted (money etc)) all DLCs present. Added university green power station and a few other items. Saved it, loaded it without problem. Then loaded my previous city and everything ok????
