In this video I try to create a new vassal empire out of an empire with 1 planet. I was trying to do this so their ethics would change over, since waiting for the non status quo victory would make an unhappy and disloyal empire since the game keeps their previous non compatible ethics in charge. What makes me so salty is that the last planet of an empire CANNOT be status quo vassalized so it just gives you an empire for 1 second and then it gets deleted immediately after.

As far as I know Ive never been able to vassalize the last planet of an empire from a status quo
If you try to vassalize an empire that only has one planet, it will immediately just destroy all of the outposts that the new empire owns (since they have no planets)
Be sure to correct me if this is intentional, but it is extremely annoying imo
